I said the same thing. Who will be the third, great, black entertainer who will die next?

Although if it turned out to be Al Sharpton or Farrakhan, I wouldn't mind too much.

As soon as I'd heard/read about Bernie Mac, I thought of your great appreciation of his comedy, Slade. I loved watching his show, back when I had satellite tv. He never failed to make me laugh. Then, to read about Isaac Hayes today... that's got me floored. The man was a living legend and now he's making music with The House Band.

Yeah, it does come in threes... *bows head in reverence & whispers a prayer*

Isaac Hayes made good baby making music and Bernie Mac made me laugh all sick every time we went to see him to stand up. I think every black man over 40 had better stick close to home for a while. I don't like to think of the whole "three" thing, but always safe, never sorry.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. And then I read about Morgan Freeman's car crash. And let's not forget George Carlin who passed away recently as well. I find more and more of my favourite entertainers gone :(
